Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal has taken a terrific start at the box office and is registering good occupancies in most territories. This Sandeep Reddy Vanga film has got off to a great start overseas as well. It has created a sensation by trending at no.1 position at the global cinema with a $42M collection this weekend. This is a unique feat as very few Indian films have managed to do this.
Animal has also registered the 2nd biggest collection after the first 3 days in Bollywood after Pathaan. The film is trending on a super sensational note, especially in Hindi and it’s expected to collect 500Cr nett in India. If the film performs at this pace, there are all the chances of Animal becoming the all-time highest Bollywood grosser in India.
After 3 days, Animal has collected Rs 245Cr gross in India, and overseas the gross is 105Cr. Overall the 1st weekend gross was in the range of 350Cr which is terrific. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor in key roles. Bhushan Kumar has backed this project.
