Prashanth Varma: Facing blackmail to postpone, the success of Hanuman is crucial

Prashanth Varma’s Hanuman starring Teja Sajja is releasing on 12th January. The film will be releasing amidst strong competition from other Sankranthi releases. The producers for a long time have been saying that they were the first ones to announce the 12th of January as their release date. Apart from this, all agreements have been made for all other language releases which they can not postpone.

Recently, director Prashanth Varma interacted with the media for film promotions. During these interactions, he has also said that team Hanuman announced release date first and has revealed that they are receiving blackmail to postpone Hanuman from Sankranthi. Despite this blackmail, the young director has maintained that he won’t postpone the release date at any cost.

Prashanth Varma further revealed that the success of Hanuman is crucial for him because it’s not a standalone film they are planning 12 superhero stories and the first one is Hanuman. The 2nd movie in this series is Adhira which is already in progress. The 3rd movie is a female-centric superhero film and the team is working on these stories.

For all of these things to materialise, Hanuman’s success is extremely crucial. If Hanuman succeeds, multiple directors will be introduced to the industry and multiple films will be released. This is why Prashanth Varma is extremely focussed on Hanuman.
