Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s next project will be with Gopichand Malineni and the official announcement was made some time back. The combo has delivered huge blockbusters so far. After scoring a hat-trick with Don Seenu, Balupu and Krack, the actor-director duo is raring to go for a big hit for the fourth time. However, an unexpected obstacle has come up leading to a delay in the film.
This much-awaited project will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers who have reportedly put the film on hold due to budget issues. As per the reports, this Ravi Teja-Gopichand Malineni film is going overboard on budget on paper itself. The producers are of the opinion that this budget can not be recovered as there has been a huge decline in satellite and OTT business.
A Lot of films that completed the shootings are already impacted by deficit releases since the offers not coming and business is not happening like before. Hence the producers have realized now and are putting this project on hold. It needs to be seen what kind of measures they take to get the film going. Will they reduce the budget or start a fresh story with a moderate budget? Only time will tell.
This new project is also said to be based on true events and reportedly the film is said to revolve around the caste fights in the 1990s between upper caste and lower caste. Like Krack, even this project is based on some true incidents.
