They started the year, 2023 with two big hits, Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy. They ended the year with Prabhas’s Salaar. Mythri Movies bought the Nizam rights of Salaar for 65Cr [Including GST] and the movie has collected more than 70Cr in its full run. Now the latest Superhero film, Hanuman has become a big jackpot for them as they bought the movie for 7.2 Cr and the movie has already collected 8.85Cr and the trade expects the film to amass a whopping number of 25Cr+ share in full run.
Recently Mythri group has seen some setbacks in the distribution field, but they came back strong with these back 2 back successes with Salaar and Hanuman.
There is another similarity in both the films. In North America, both the films have crossed 3 Million. Salaar’s theatrical run ended last week, and the Sankranthi release ‘HanuMan’ is expected to bring in a gross revenue of more than $4 million by the end of its entire run.
